Antequera airport - New hotspot?
I read the other day that Antequera airport is close to getting the thumbs up to accept European flights. Antequera is located about 30 minutes inland from Malaga on the Costa del Sol. I have read in a few places that property prices have been increasing quite rapidly in the area over the past 3 years, but compared to prices down here on the coast they actually seem really cheap.
We have someone trying to sell a 4 bed "house" in antequerra for 150K! It's even got a private pool. This ia a lot of house for very little money. I think with the fact that there will be an airport in Antequera soon then this has got to be a property hotspot...although I'm no expert so don't take my word for it!

1. There is an article in the Costa del Sol news which throws doubt on the vaiblity of this project.
'by the weekend, Aena was denying that it had given any view to the Mayor regarding the proposed airport’s compatibility or viability. Aena pointed out that the project had only been under consideration by them for fewer than 10 days and that, “these kind of studies take months to complete”.
