Just back from UK

I've been in the UK for the past week so not been able to blog at all. I took my laptop and planned to hook up to some open wireless networks to access the Internet....as many people do in Spain. How many open networks did I find? NONE! It would be interesting to know (for those geeks amongst us) what level of Internet users in the UK have wireless networks compared with Spain? In Spain wireless networks are all over the place so it's easy to get some "free Internet" off the back of someone's else's connection (yes, it's a bit cheeky but people can password protect their networks if they want to). So, now I'm back with hundreds of emails to get through.

It was interesting going back to the UK as I haven't been back for over a year. I was in Kent. We used to live in Kent and being there brough back lots of good memories. We always loved Kent, the gorgeous countryside, the beautiful towns, etc. However, despite all its charm I still believe we made the right move in going to live in Spain, particularly for the kids. It didn't rain much whilst I was in UK but it was very dull, very grey, especially compared to the bightness of where we live in Spain.

Life is definitely much more relaxed and "easy going" here in Spain which is how it should be. We won't be going back in a hurry...that's for sure!
