What has happened to the weather in Spain?

I'm not sure what's happening in the rest of the country but here where we are in Manilva the weather is just dire at the moment. During the week we end up saying "if the weather is nice this weekend...."... that's what we used to say when we lived in England!

It's all very odd really. We've had loads of rain, it's windy for a lot of the time, we're still using blankets to sleep and it's just not that hot. We even thought that maybe it's just us acclimatising to the temperature, but I don't think so.

We were going to go to the pool this afternoon but it's windy and grey.

If the weather is nice this weekend we'll go to the beach!
