My poor interview skills

I've just uploaded the latest "Ear on Spain" interview to the website. This time it's with Patrick Robinson talking about Spanish Mortgages.

http://www.eyeonspain.com/podcasts/

When I listen to my interviews I really do cringe a little, my voice sounds awful! People must hate me so much with that awful voice!!

Is it normal to hate your voice after hearing it recorded??

Anyway, I was really looking for some feedback from this latest interview. Did you like it? Was it useful? Is my voice really that bad? Any tips for improvement??

Would appreciate any feedback as I know people really like the interviews so I would like to keep doing them....just don't want to annoy everyone with that awful voice of mine! Just click the "Post a comment" link below to let me know what you thought.

Thanks.

Just listened to the mortgage podcast. Very interesting, makes me realise how complicated this all is....
And I thought your interview technique was fine too - straight questions and let Patrick tell us what he knows. Keep up the good work!

Downloaded and listened to your interview in the car last Saturday - we thought it was exellent, very informative and understandable. Will listen again next year when we will need to take out a mortgage.
Minor Comment: I think you did your interview in an office - it sounded echoy - could you deaden the walls and floor

thanks for the interview, its very normal to feel concious of our voices when playing them back after we have recorded something, if you loved your voice then you may have an ego problem, not a voice issue. >) I was a DJ on the Radio, and I trained Djs to improve their voice, im not saying you need improvement,at all, but, what i used to recommend to the djs was to not talk to close to the mic, or whatever recording equipment was being used, dont speak to fast, and try to smile when they speak, this sounds silly, but try it, it really helps actually, when i used to listen to my voice on recorded tapes, jesus, i used to cringe! and sometimes i had a radio show at 4 am, no sleep, too much alcohol, my voice was real bad. But what i found out after listening to my voice was any voice sounds good, if its smiling! if that makes sense, by the way, your voice is fine, perhaps some better recording equipment would improve things, but then anything electrical can be improved! so you could go on and on improving, as long as its audible, thats the main thing.... keep talking >)
