funny things guests do

I have been blessed whilst living in Spain to have opened up my retreat/b&b.  I have had all sorts of people staying with me from young people to older people.

Last week it was the latter and whilst I do not intend to mention any names as such some of the things that happened tickled me, and I had to hold back the smile until they had left the room.

The first funnyism happened when I found Mr (A) rubbing hair conditioner over his body which he thought was suncream.  When I pointed out the error he said well I thought it smelt good. 

I smiled at this and continued with my day only to find that having used the razors/shaving cream that we offer free to use here he had then looked around for some aftershave..  When I next saw him I smelt this lovely smell of perfume which was a bottle I had left out in the bathroom in case any ladies had wanted to use it.. :)

As the week progressed I next found him walking around with a bottle of my dog shampoo that he had found tucked out of sight, what are you doing I asked him.. Oh I thought this was shampoo, well I replied it is, but it is for dogs, it has a picture of a dog on it  your shampoo is marked shampoo and is in fact in your room along with all the other washing products you need.

I think from now on I will have to make sure that anyone else staying here understand's exactly what bottles are for what although this is the first time that I have had any issues, and all the bottles are marked clearly ..   in the end everything was fine, they really enjoyed their stay here and intend to return again next year.  It certainly bought a smile to my face...  you never know people do you?
