Hi
We too have swapped from block 9 for block 4. (First floor). We did this in March. We have fitted a kitchen & converted the terrace. We have just spent 2 weeks at Alta & although we hardly had any time to relax as we were out & about getting bits & bobs we cant wait until we return in September.
My daughter & friend were with us (16) and they certainly enjoyed themselves the pool was fab! & only a short stroll to the town & beach.
We also visited the local 'finca' who explained all the community charges. They will also email all minutes of the community meetings once they have your home postal address or email. The president for our block is on the ground floor no 12, but she does not speak english. The community at present are in negotiations for a new cleaning company as, if any one had been out the lobbys & down to the garage are very dusty. We have also been issued with cards (4) for the swimming pool as the locals are arriving by bus with a rucksack to spend the day at the pool! We did see evidence of the life guards asking for these cards. 2 on duty at all times. This is a temperary arrangement until better security can be organised, they are looking at a key fob entry or maybe using the garage bleep. You now need to use the second button on your bleep for the garage for entry to the complex as the barrier is down all the time now. Please also be aware as in a previous post electricity & water take an absolute age to get sorted. Snagging has not been completed but to be perfectly honest there was only one small thing which proves this is a quality build.
We used a local company for furniture, kitchen & the convertion which we were more than happy with, if any one wants details please get in touch.
look forward to seeing you by the pool!
Graeme & Lorna Leslie Aberdeenshire.
