Hi 2er, yes, we got the information only this week from lawyer that work has stopped (probably some time ago) due to some question over whether the permission(s) to build are in order. At the moment the matter is in the court with the developer submitting the paperwork. According to our lawyer both the Town Hall and developer are under scrutiny on this.
We got this news yesterday so are debating our next move. We have been chasing the developer for some time for information but got nowhere for last months.
I am curious to know What stage the construction is in ?? I anticipate that we are in for a long haul on this,
my email is "GTBgardner @ aol com" if you want to contact me direct (ignore spaces - this forum wont allow links unless I have posted 10 time)

Hi we are in the same boat, having paid our deposit on one of these houses about three years ago. Our lawyer has just informed us that the developer has entered into bankruptcy (Concurso de Acreedores) and he is about to present a writ to the administrators. All very frustrating. We've been out there a couple of times in recent months worked stopped ages ago, despite Medsea assuring us that all was well and sending us supposed pictures of our plot nearing completion. However we know where in the development our plot is located and it's quite clear when we go out there that they haven't even started work at that end. Any other info would be much appreciated.
