Has anyone got any updates or progress reports regarding the  penthouses on phase2   the original timescale on our block 291 was end of 2009   but  I think this  might be a bit optimistic having not seen or heard of  any building progress to phase 2

I was staying on La Torre the week before last and took my usual drive around Terrazas. There are cranes in place for the apartments and it appears there has been work done on foundations / underground pipework. Also evident that considerable portions of roads & parking in place so maybe their timescale is possible.

There is no brickwork for the penthouses at this stage as they are concentrating on finishing phase 1.  I called in with Customer Services in HQ where I was told that my own place in Las Islas is due to be completed "end of 2009 or early 2010". This appears to be the stock answer to all queries about completion dates so don't hang your hat on end of 2009. One cautionary note: I met a couple at Condado in June who expected to complete mid 2009 and they had been summoned to complete in July 2008 so the odd miracle does happen!

I visited the new penthouse show house on Condado and have a few exterior and interior photos. I hope to get them organised and posted on my blog by the coming weekend so if you are interested you could take a look at the link below later in the week. By the way the penthouse looked pretty good.

Hi all,

Has anyone heard anything new in the last month about phase 2 penthouses???  If not I am going to Spain next week so will make enquiries when I am there, the photos of phase 1 look great and I am sure it will all be worth it when we eventually get our property........

We started to plan a trip out to Torres for next Feb to have a hol  and check on the progress of our penthouse in Phase 2 of TDLT. I phoned Polaris yesterday for an update and they told me that they were due to complete in Dec this year (or at the latest Feb next year). This was a complete surprise as I'd heard nothing from them and was expecting them to handover June next year. They said someone would be in touch soon to confirm details. Will post on here if I get any firm details.

Sorry about the last posting, turned out to be mis-information!! Telephoned Polaris again today to get confirmation and they said they had given me bum info. It seems that Phase 2 is at least 12 months away.

Ah well, was excited for all of 3 days!

Am planning to go to Torre next Feb/Mar and see for myself whats going on.

Have just returned from Spain and have posted photos of the apartments on Phase 1, the quality and finish is great.  Customer Services confirmed that they do not have the building licence for Phase 2 yet and do not know when it will be issued.  

Due to the constant delays and following advice from other members we are pushing to move to a completed property.

Is anyone else considering this?
