Sorry about the title, I'm not usually one for scaremongering but on another forum I saw the following article: http://www.vegamediapress.es/noticias/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=8694&Itemid=1

The translation is poor so I am hoping that someone with decent Spanish could follow the link and look at the Spanish article and advise if there is a genuine concern.

Dave

I wouldn't get over anxious with headlines lke the one above. Sure, all builders are going through a rough time at the moment, and I'm sure PW are no exception. They just happen to be the biggest name in real estate in the region, so will always attract journalists looking for sensational headlines! I have tralled the internet and cannot find this story on any other news site (Spanish or English), so I'm "hoping" its just over-exaggerated journalistic sensationism, but don't shoot me if I'm wrong
Also, fellow "soon to be" Terrazas owners take some comfort in the following article :-

I suppose what I'm saying is I guess you can't believe everything you read in the papers!! We are due to complete in November, so keepng our fingers crossed
I'm sure we will all come out of this so called "credit crunch" and enjoy our Spanish homes for years to come, that's all we ever wanted!

Also, I'll try to upload a photo of the view from our apartment - showing the golf course construction well on it way! According to Nicklaus Design website, the golf course is due to open April 2009

www dot nicklaus dot com/design/search under.php?crit sort=1&name=&state=&4 option=3&country=Spain&submit=Search

We are staying on La Torre between Nov 6th-18th, supposedly completing on the 12th (unless we get the call from Nuria!!) so if anyone else is there at the same time, it would be great to meet up to drink & swap notes etc??

Hasta Luego

hello Cazandian, we are going over to stay on La Torre on Sunday 26th October and will be visiting our apartment on Terrazas. We are on block 24 and were hoping to complete while over next week. We have now been told it could be mid November so our solicitor will complete on our behalf. We will take photos and video footage. Still excited despite doom and gloom around! Sheila and Dave

I am buying in Block 27 and am going down next week (from 29th) to do a snagging on 30th. Completion expected mid-November as far as I know. The pictures on fotothis are very encouraging!

Finally its getting close!

Hi Kingslands & nicw,

We have our snagging appointment confirmed for the 11th Nov. Our completion date is now 17th Nov, as this is supposed to be the day the Habitation Certificates are being issued!?! If the hab cert isn't available, then we will have to decide whether to go ahead or arrange POW to our solicitor.

FYI re: air con - had a good quote and service (so far) from "Chillout" air con, so hoping to arrange fitting after signing.

Photos posted today on fotothis look VERY promising! Getting very excited (if not a little apprehensive) now!!!

Take care & hope to see you at TDLT very soon!

P.S. Any photos of ground floor blk 30 & it's views would be MOST welcome, thanks!
