phase 2 building underway

spoke to polaris today they have told me building has started on phase 2 but no town centre will be built until the economic climate improves not sure whether to believe polaris but if anyone is completing on phase 1 perhaps they can confirm it has started

We brought through Polaris World and have had a mail from them today saying that they have met with Polaris World and Polaris World have told them that Phase 2, Phase 12 and Las Islas 4&5 will be completed by the first 6 months of 2010.  They would not give specific dates for the properties but did say they would give 8 weeks notice to sign.

Just a little information for those on phase 2.

I recently laid hands on the available property on the phase and the price list. The phase has 16 blocks with 32 homes per block = 512. To date 264 are still available, just over half of the total.

I understand that the arrangement PW have with their bankers is that they can start a phase when it is 45% sold so based on the above figures they are now able to start. Despite having told some buyers that they have already started phase 2, they have also made it clear that the workforce will stay on MM2 until it is completed.

I hope I am not being overly presumptuous but as you appear new to the forum perhaps you have not been exposed to PWs usual mixture of misinformation and total silence. When they do speak what their customer service people tell you will often be contradicted either by another department or quite commonly - the truth. There appears to be a culture of "tell them what they want to hear"

Although I am not in Murcia all available information seems to confirm that phase 2 has not started and is unlikely to do so for a few months yet whilst MM2 is completed.

I have heard this timetable several times before both on threads on EOS & elsewhere. I can only say that most members appear to take it with a large shovel full of salt. 

I am on phase 5 at present and very much doubt that I will be receiving that 8 weeks notice to complete anytime in 2010
