Anybody interested in joining with me in the costs to advertise Porto Fino complex for holiday Rental this year.

I don’t claim to know anything about advertising. I am just trying everything i can think off to get as much weeks rented as possible to help with the mortgage and costs. (and hopefully i will get return customers next year)

I have already advertised on the top rental websites as well as creating a website myself, distributed flyers and i am current getting posters created, all in the last 2 weeks and have 1 potential booking so far for April.

However i saw an add last night on RTE TV to advertise for as little as 10 euros.

I contacted them and currently waiting on them to get back to me.

If we pooled our resources together and worked as a group instead of individually we could cut our advertising/keyholding/managment costs as well as advertise on various channels  in various countries.

Do any of you come from an advertising background?? What do you think??

Are any of you on the management board for the complex. Is there a way to contact other owners that are not aware of this forum.?

Hi, I am willing to try anything to get as many weeks rental as possible so I am with you on this one.

Don't have any advertising experience as such but I do run an internet company which gets all it's business from Google so know a far bit about web sites and search engine optimisation.

At the very least least we may be able to share booking enquiries for the very popular weeks when there can more demand than one renter can supply. For instance, I own a one bedroom apartment so can't service enquiries for two bedrooms or more.

Our apartment is a one bed penthouse and will be available for rental from mid April this year.

Any rental we can get will help towards costs and Almerimar is a beautiful resort that will eventually attract tourists.

I have the costs to advertise on RTE.

However recent newspaper articles show 72% of Irish people will not go on holidays outside of Ireland this year.

I am currently waiting on information back from work colleagues in Spain to find out where is the best place to advertise for the Spanish market.

I also advertised in news papers in Ireland etc.

The only enquiries/bookings came from friends and family..So i am concentrating on that avenue for now.

I'm in with you guys if we decided to pool our resources as I have a one bedroomed apartment in block 3 and a 2 bedroomed apartment in block 1 overlooking the swimming pool. As we say anything to help with the running costs.
