Association email

We have received an email from the Condado Association with several attachments which appear to be various proposals for the next general meeting on 6th April. It doesnt appear to be from Sergio, and we havent heard from him yet.

Struggling to open the attachments- is it worth continuing to try to open them - anybody know? 

EDIT: Managed to get letter (CARTA) to open and its to Jose Hernandez  about what PW havent done as opposed to what their advertising said they would provide and what  the advertising continues to say it will provide even though current circumstances have caused delays and non builds. It also mentions the water salinisation plant not being built and concerns for the future water supply for CdA.  So its about that point that surfaced a few weeks back regarding the suggestion that PW is breaching advertising conditons.
Can't open other attachments.

I am finding this confusing as well, as Sergio has done a sterling job but with 2 associations running it's a bit strange, I obviously want to support both as you would hope that they both have our best interests in mind.

Are people just responding to Sergio only or both parties? How do others feel on this?

To clarify from my emails

The email with address of asociacioncondadodealhama@gmail.com is from what I assume are the Spanish residence

The email with address of asocondadodealhama@yahoo.com is from our friend Sergio

It is from the gmail.com address so not Sergio

Covering emal is as below, plus attachments- the first being the letter I detailed earlier on the thread and the other's we cannot open:-

I can't understand how some are getting emails from this gmail.com and not others. How did they get email addresses in the first place? As far as we know Sergio got email addresses through us contacting him.

Is Sergio aware of this other group?  We too are only too willing to support anyone that is approaching PW on behalf of all but can't understand why there seems to be 2 groups.  Wouldn't they be better working as one?

Can Mick, (Sonatigh)  Jill & Terry or Mel cast any light on this?

Has anyone heard from Sergio about the petition to Alhama council?   Has anyone heard anything about the Jardin meetings?

I think it is most likely that someone who gathered email addresses, to promote potential services some time ago, has passed these addresses on

I asked this question to Sergio and his reply was 'I have been in contact with the representatives of the other association and I respect their iniciatives but I do not share their strategies'

I'm still none the wiser

Have to say, I am not really happy with 5 individuals, of whom I have no knowledge, and certainly haven't voted for, calling themselves "Condado de Alhama Committee".  I am all for getting some unified approach to our discussions, negotiations etc. with Polaris and others, but shouldn't this group be a bit more open as to who they are and what they are representing before claiming to be a "committee" for the development??

I would be very interested if anyone can tell us who the people behind this are.

Ok confused?  The email re the petition to the council to take on the outer road came from the gmail address, is this Segrio?.

Looking back the only email I have ever had regarding CdA Committe is from the gmail account.

Agree with Ted that these 5 people should make themselves known.  If Sergio is wary of their strategies then he must feel they are going about things in the wrong way and this could in effect go against us. Someone must know who they are.

Phil, the only emails we have had are from ** EDITED - Forum Rules - Please do not post individuals email addresses ** and thought they were the ones doing the petition to Alhama re the outer ring roads? That is Sergio???  Isn't it?

Remember the American sit com SOAP?  Confused? You will be. lol

We need one person acting on our behalf to untangle the web and find out who's who and who's doing what

The email I had re the outer road with the subject "ANNEX II and III in both Spanish and English" was from the gmail account?

I think Azure Property Services is linked to Alan Milton (who I believe also comes on this forum under the name of batfink!) or have I got this wrong and added even more to the confusion?!!!

Is it possible that this "association" is the group of people that met in the Surgery on a Sunday morning  a few weeks ago talking about taking on PW under the Trades Description Act?  If so, then I think we need to be very wary about associating ourselves with them for all the very good reasons put forward on that thread at the time.   The issues that they seem to be talking about are along the same lines as that group were discussing and we all seemed to be of the view that we would not be willing to support such action in the current climate. 

I think we need to identify exactly who these individuals are, what they are hoping to achieve and what action they are taking - as it may be that we would not wish to support their actions.

Sergio is doing a fantastic job on behalf of all the residents but I am very wary about this other group and think they may be going off on a tangent.

When I replied to post from "batfink" re cheaper tv on Condado I sent him a pm with my email address asking him for details - the reply I got back was from Azure Property - trying to sell tv a bit cheaper than PW.  Wonder if they have ulterior motive in getting into Association - just a thought as I am as confused as anyone

I am really confused now.   I have no knowledge of the people mentioned below and to be honest I'm not sure if I want any knowledge of them, something doesn't add up.

The email that I am referring to is the same as the one that hamibabe posted under alhama association?

Just checked this out - as I thought, Alan Milton is Azure Property Services - and also comes on the forum as "batfink".

He is advertising a number of properties on Condado, presumably as keyholder/property manager - look at this link which confirms the connection : http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/rentals/condado-de-alhama/71751.

I seem to recall that quite a long time ago, Alan Milton was barred from the EOS forum for allegedly obtaining details from other forum members to provide furniture packs, air con etc etc and receiving commission.

That explains how our email addresses were passed on without our consent.

Most likely how these emails from the gmail.com source have come about. Whether its for an ulterior motive I couldnt say but I would have liked to have been approached in the 1st contact with this association to ask permission to continue contacting me.

I'm not sure if this all muddies the water or if it will help us.  The one letter I managed to open suggests there are 130 people as part of this particular association. Dont quote me on that as I'm at work and cant open it again here. Its more likely there are 130 names on a database.

The situation now with two Condado Associations is more like 'The Life of Brian' and the many political activist parties all with similar names.

I certainly WILL NOT be supporting anybody who does not have the common curtesy to introduce themselves and make there intentions known to the community.  Now that we know who is behind all these emails, Sergio is the man who will be supported by us.
