Yes - they (the agent you quote) are nearly acurate in their staement which mirrors the owner forum info.

One or two points made me laugh

I don't think any agent has anything to do with when builders will go back on site !!

However,  I've been purchasing a property on ACC for two and half years and most of the acccurate information the agents get comes from the ACC owners forum.where some very very good people pursue this issue intently.

We have received our renewed bank guarantees from Aldea, and we are now in the + 6 months part of our contract. We also got an e-mail from Paul Roach at Parador saying that the regional council approved the plans and they are now waiting for the Junta to approve and issue the licences to start building. I must say that Mirabel at Aldea warned me not to expect building work to start again before 2007 but Parador are more optimistic. I think Parador are fooling themselves (and trying to placate us!!!)

Wouldn't believe anything you hear from Parador. They said work was going to commence after August holidays. Surprised that they actually answered you

Yes we have been hearing for over a year building would restart !

Many agents / solicitors and even Huma have stated and written building 'should'  re start by the end of the year or early Jan 2007 .......................!!! Many 100's of people are watcing intently.

All I will add is that if buiding does not restart :

a/ There is going to be a flood of people pulling out. Who are preparing quietly right now and WILL get all monies back plus interest.

b/ En mass there will be some very strong action taking place.

If you are a member of the ACC owners forum you will know about this. We hope and pray we don't have to go down that road ! 

can anyone tell me when the building work actually stopped at ACC.   The reason I ask is that I would be interested to know if Parador took my deposit of me, knowing that no work was going on and failed to notify me of this.

I paid my deposit of 3,000 in August 2005.
