I got back from spain on thursday 7th of sept still having problems with either the pump or timer on the swimming pool with the rocks worked ok for 2 days then started playing up again engineer came out to it at least 3 times while we were there also large areas of grass has died but I think the builders are aware of this.

Two things that have annoyed us on our holiday are:-

1 The women gardeners that cut the grass keep coming back every day to the sme areas and start using the mower,strimmer,and blowers which can take up to 3 hours .

2 Some peoples alarms are going off every night while they are away ( they must not have a key holder to come round and reset it ) they are so loud you can not have your bedroom door open because of the noise.

We have still had a great holiday weather hot and sunny.

Our appartment is in block 6, overlooking the 'heated' pool, and chosen for that specific reason. We were there at the beginning of October and the water was far too cold to swim. We saw quite a few people obviously dressed to swim, try the water and then walk away. I was particularly looking forward to at least one daily dip, but took my swimwear home unused. Who decides about heating the pool? Is it up to the owners?

Another problem was we were given just a couple of days notice about the first owners meeting, which was too late for us to take part, and we've never received a copy of any minutes so have no idea what items were discussed.  A few days ago we had notice of the next meeting, but as we're both working people it's not sufficient notice to take leave from work, even if we did have any of our annual allowance left. We don't know any other owners, so can't nominate anyone to vote in our absence.

Just got back yesterday.  The 'rock pool' seems to be okay now and was working the whole time I was there.  I was brave enough to go in,  but boy was it cold, ha ha!! I was also under the impression that the training pool would be heated all year round. It came to light at the 1st general meeting that it would be heated in the winter months only.  At the meeting, the pool charges were a very grey area because there was only one pool working at the time but we were paying for 2.  This was incase a 2nd pool opened during the summer. Hopefully things will be clarified in Nov meeting now all pools are working.

Points that were discussed at 1st general meeting:

1.  Appointment of President, Vice President and 2 committee members(phase 1)

2.  Proposed budget and expenses

3.  Opening of Associate's Bank Account

4.  Questions.  A number of issues were highlighted and brought forward to discuss, impose rules/regs, etc.

The meeting lasted approx 3.5 - 4 hours.  So, no easy feat, ha ha.......  I was ready for a cervesa afterwards, let's put it that way!!  Hope this info helps.
