Polaris Furniture

Hi all,

I am due to complete on La Isla on the 26/08 and I have been looking at furniture and I quite like some of the range that Polaris sell. Has anyone purchased through Polaris and if so how did you find them in terms of price and timescales to deliver, etc?

Apart from all the big items that I had planned on buying in Spain and most probably through Polaris, I will probably order some of the smaller items (kettles and cutlery, etc) through Amazon and get them to deliver direct. Has anyone else used Amazon and if so did you experience any problems?

Hi Mark. We're going over to complete on La Isla on 19th August and then planning to buy quite a lot of the big items such as beds, sofas etc from Ikea which is about 20 mins away on the way to Murcia. My friend bought his apt last year on La Torre and said he would recommend Ikea everytime. They were prompt at delivering and very helpful! Also, I've been told to look for a furniture retailer called 'Casa' which is also reasonable. I'm interested to see how u get on with Amazon tho.

If you are thinking of buying leather sofa etc, I would buy in UK and get them delivered, leather in Spain is very expensive and you can get a whole 3 piece suite for what you pay for a three seatter in spain, there beds are not much better either.  If i was to furnish my place again I would buy everything here and get Alan (delivery man) to take it across for us.
