Visited the site recently and also Palmera Properties. Palmera had a meeting with Mirador and questioned the fact the elements of the 12000 euro optional extras package were already included in the houses. Mirador answered by saying that they were not optional and everyone would have to pay the money. I have asked my solicitor to look into this as we have no intention of paying this sum if it is not legally binding.
There is evidence of 'penny pinching' at the site. The walls around the show house have been dismantled and replaced with cheap fencing. The standard of finishing appears poor in some areas but none of the houses are completed yet.
No work has started on the swimming pool and I will believe that one when I see it. It is my belief that Mirador are actively discouraging completions at the original price to sell houses on at a profit but I have no direct evidence to support this theory.
Palmera assured us that our 'completion package' was sent out and would be ready when we got home. Not true of course, has anyone else received one?
