2 bed holiday let required for August

Hi all,

Need a 2 bed apartment for a family in August, block 12 preferred.  If not in block 12 then as close as possible.  Family are willing to pay £395 for the week.

Sorry, but that is a laugh you cant get one for under 500 in August, hope you get one at that price. Electric alone for air con is over 100 euros plus cleaning and wear and tear, it would be cheaper to leave it empty. Wish you well and hope you get one for that price.

However, if you check 'Holiday Lettings' out of 18 adverts for properties at DV - 15 are priced less than £500 with the average being £400. There are only 3 priced at £550 for a week in August.

As for the air con costs, try fitting an Ecosense.

From an owners persepective I think the issue is that you can get at least £500 for a week in August so why let it go for any less and I definately wouldn't.

From a renters perspective obviously you get the best rates you can but need to be aware that not all apartments are the same

Look, this is all starting to get a little unnecessary - I am an owner at DV, I do know what goes on there!

I posted this question because I have had a genuine enquiry from a family that wanted my apartment, but it is already booked. I was hoping that this post would reach any owner at DV that is interested in taking the booking - if you're not interested, that's fine, but can you please stop filling up this thread with comments insinuating how silly I am, when all I was hoping to do was benefit a fellow owner that is interested in taking the booking!!!
