Well I am home and as promised here are my findings. Phase 3 is coming along in leaps and bounds, the workmen are very busy and are putting in the support pillars. Some of the lemon/orange trees have been cleared away from the orchard on Calle Mayor and at first I thought that another building was going up but have been told that it is agricultural land and can,t be built on, they are just replacing the trees. The community meeting is scheduled for February ,but nobody had a definate date for it, so that is probably another rumour. The weather while we were there was pretty bad, lots of rain and clouds. The appartment was quite cold, but there were no damp clothes or mould ,which is what I was worried about! The new bar (the old T.V. place) has come to a standstill, a lot of activity there before Xmas but nothing since the New Year. Co-Co,s Bistro has shut, and has been taken over by the son from the Don Pedro, around the corner.A new cafe/bar has opened next to Don Pedros, it looks very nice. The Bull are planning to have entertainment a couple of nights a week, they already have karaoke on a Saturday night, and darts on a Tuesday.Ger & Anne are now running it with Dave moving next door to the Snooker room which he will run with his wife, Karen. There are more shops opening which can only be a good thing. Went to the market on Saturday and there wasn,t one, only the fruit and veg part, The weather must have put them off,it was pretty bad ! Best Wishes Gill.
