Thanks for your post halgate with the issue about construction workers on the spanish building sites you will find most of the hard labouring jobs are carried out by casual laboures mostly north african cash in hand but have work visas they are paid at an hourly rate .Spain does not have unemployment services like us in the uk so the vast magority of workers on building sites are not naturals in spain i hope that answers your question.Graham

Here's a positive note.
Agents are sending out letters to purchasers now stating that building is expected to re start end June o7 ................
Make of it what you will. But at least it is positive and in writing.....................Please don't ask me any questions I am just quoting the letter.
Lets hope it does happen.

Hi Deb,
You asked if there were any other midlanders who purchased on ACC, well the answer is yes. Me and my husband are from Brum, we lived in Water Orton a small village by Minworth, Sutton Coldfield. About 12 years ago we moved to East Yorkshire and are still there currently. We are still confident that all will be ok with ACC, so we've stayed put, I still think its a wonderful place to own a property and feel we've waited this long so we'll stick with it now. Fingers crossed!!!
Best regards Sal and Craig

Hi Sal & Craig
Nice to hear from you both, we live in a place called Wilnecote, about 5 miles from Water Orton, we know it well, and the dog when we take him to the kennels in Water Orton, by the Dog and Dublit. Doing the same and keeping put on the ACC and hopefully going to be able to live in our place someday and enjoy the sunshine.
Regards

Hi Deb & John, Sal & Craig
We live in Honiley just south of Solihull. Hubbies sister lives in Two Gates, nephew lives in Wilnecote. We are going to hang on and hopefully all will be well at ACC, it may take a while yet, who knows, at least when it is built it will have all of the correct paperwork and will be legal, unlike many others already built.
Regards
Di & Bry

Hi Di and Bry and Keith,
Nice to see some more fellow Midlanders buying on ACC. I'm sure the wait will be well worth it because it will be a fantastic place to own a property.
Keith, thank you for the personal message that you sent us about your visit to ACC, I'm still confident that it will turn out ok. Although we are not from Yorkshire, we've lived here 12 years now and have been very happy so no regrets at all.
best wishes
Sal & Craig

Hello fellow people in waiting, signed for a tariffa in aug 05 - totally positive we have made the right decision to buy one day, then the next day we aren't so sure again? does this ring any bells out there?
visited ACC twice since the inspection trip, nothing to view still apart from the wonderful setting for our new [future] abode!. THIS IS A POSITIVE DAY.

Hi keith
I am a fellow yorkshire person who has bought at acc and feel more positive about this and can't wait until it is all completed and we are there and all these problems will be forgotten.

Yep, I'm from Yorkshire, too. Got so fed up that I've haven't checked this site for a while, but seems people are a bit more positive now. I'm also sticking it out - don't want to start at the beginning and go through all this again. Maybe June, orSept? Maybe meet up with some of you at Christmas?!

Hi all, not been on this site before. We bought on ACC 2 years ago and are still waiting for one brick to join another!!!!!
I have NO confidence in this development at all, however, my hubby wants to see it through to the end.
We are from Leeds and have bought on Manzana 27.
Would love to hear from anyone nearby.
