Indian in Almoradi

I've just returned from Murcia after a golfing weekend 1 hour further down the coaast at Almeria, where developments are going up all over the place. We placed our deposits last october and I visited the site for 2 days to get a feel for the area in 2nd week of October when the weather wash cold in the morning, but I went for a swim in the afternoon down at the beach before returning to the UK. I spent 2 nights in the city of Murcia - what a beautiful unspoilt city - not an english restaurant in site, beautiful squares and tapas bars (check out flores square) Seeing the coast developments, I know we've made the right choice in Caravaca. We've gone for a 2 bed and a 3 bed apartment with the intention of using the 3 bed as a 2nd home/long weekend retreat. Still not decided about the 2 bed... whether to let out or sell. After discussing with the Uk side about timescales - it's looking like 20% deposit will be needed at the earliest end May. Regards

Update on the Nature project at Caravaca

 

Many of you may know that due to biannual local elections, we have been awaiting more concrete news about the licence approval etc and more importantly the date that contracts will be issued and when deposits are expected to be payable by ourselves, as well as our clients purchasing there.

 

An update on the current situation has been released yesterday as follows:

 

Final permission for the project (plan parcial definitivo PPD) is now expected in the second quarter of this year; however the actual building licence (Licencia de obras), is not now expected until the first quarter of 2008.

 

At this point only, can contracts be issued, followed by deposit payments, in all probability during April 2008.

 

Therefore purchasing clients can free up their deposit monies for a year and earn some interest. They will not have to find any more capital, other than the 3000 Euros fee paid to secure a property, for over a year more!

 

Incredulous; a payment structure like this is a property investor’s dream come true and our reaction has been to promptly purchase another unit there, increasing our pre reservation at Nature to three properties.

 

Delivery is now rescheduled, for at the earliest summer of 2010, possibly in time for the jubilee year celebrations, conversely we anticipate that keys will be handed over towards the end of the year, although we will be clearer on a delivery date when they start work at the site.
