We asked Peraleja for an update on the hotel and golf membership, here are their responses for information.
"Peraleja Golf has 13,739 sqm land available for the construction of a hotel, of which, 9,617s qm are liable to be built.
The construction of a hotel in Peraleja Golf resort has always been conceived as one of the quality services for the future residents and because of that Peraleja has carried out several feasibility studies to establish the most adequate type of hotel to be built.
In line with Peraleja´s strategic aims, the recommended type of hotel for our development should be the so-called “boutique hotel”, with a limited size of around 50 rooms, and a standard of exclusivity and luxury. The “boutique hotel” consists of a hotel with a distinctive touch of design that bases its reputation in a unique character made from a mix of aesthetics, style, design, quality and comfort. This sort of hotels is most often associated to prestigious hotel brands such as The Leading Hotels of the World or Relais & Chateaux.
We believe that this type of hotel will fully blend with the spirit of Peraleja Golf, that is to say, quality, exclusivity, distinction and low impact.
According to all this, our team of architects leaded by Mr. Vicente Martinez Gadea is working in the project and we will be able to show some drafts and drawings very soon. The hotel is planned to be fully in operation by 2010."

We were surprised and a little bit disappointedby the timescale for operation since it is key to the development but encouraged by their determination to secure a high quality hotel.
