We too completed on 19 July, spent a brief 48 hours in apartment, lodged our list of complaints with the developer and came back to the UK .. One of the problems was the aircon. We have a 1st floor apartment with two units, neither of which did any more than circulate the air. When I returned 10 days later (late at night, 4 kids) I found the apartment had flooded in my absence and the water was turned off. Apparently the a/c company came to fix it but inadvertantly caused a flood.
I do have some limited Spanish, and after one month, the a/c problems have been sorted out, the walls replastered and painted and barring a few niggles, the apartment is fine. It would seem to me that many of the a/c problems have been caused by poor installation. It is a cheap system, which was poorly installed. The overheating problems are more than likely to have been caused by bad positioning. Our leak and water pressure problems were caused by the system not being levelled, from what I gather. Stick to your guns and get resolution - I do feel let down by the developers, and despite their boasts, they have extremely poor customer service, and slow follow up. Karen
