Breaks near Condado

Hi,a while ago I posted a thread about places to go near-by to Condado.Just a quick update.

I was over last week and stayed 2 nights in a lovely smallish place called San Jose..Real holiday village and loads of restaurants etc.

It is only 30k from Almeria and I went there for the day on Sunday,well worth a visit.

The nice thing is that it's only at the most a few hours away,out onto the A7,come off at exit 479 for San Isidro/Nijar..Then a straight road to San Jose.Maybe 170k mostly motorway miles..

I stayed at a really nice hotel,the Hotel Santuario,for 118 Euros for 2 nights,a double with a great breakfast..

Also came back via Mojácar which is worh a visit also.

Anybody done anything like that as Im back in June and would like another few days away in the region??                                     Regards

HI JOHN...WOULD NOT MIND GOING THERE IS THERE A BEACH NEARBY OR A POOL AT THE HOTEL COMING OUT FOR TWO WEEKS BEGINNING OF MAY LOOKING AT OTHER PLACES TO STAY...CHEERS STEVIE FROM GLASGOW  

HI stevie,I can't remember if there is a pool or not as I didn't look,but the beach is about 5 minutes walk away..
