Restaurant Closed Again??

Terrry and Jill's website (www.condadodealhamaservices.com) is reporting tonight that the re-opened restaurant has shut up shop again already!!??  Anyone have more info?  Arlene.

We went to restaurant on Sat night - first night of it opening - disaster, not surprised polaris went wallop!

Out of the whole place 8 tables set, turned away crowds of people who couldnt get in, staff, who were very pleasant and trying their best but dressed in jeans and t-shirts - not the guys who were working there last year.

Best bit though was menu - girl gave it to us then said that they did not have most of the choices on it - only chicken wings, pizzas or burgers!

We had chicken wings and pizza so!

Also didnt have any Condado wine, even though supermarket was doing a buy one get one free offer on the same wine and had cases of it!

Pizzas were half cooked and we had to send one back - have never had to do that with a pizza before - my 10 year old son knows how to do pizza!

Will be sticking to bbq on the terrace this summer

Had a walk around Alhama last week and came across a nice Restaurant/ Bar called Casa Martin on Calle Mexico, dont know if anyone else has any experience of this place but we loved it. Dont know what the evening menu is like or the prices because we had the lunch time menu of the day. A drink, salad, starter,main, desert and tea or coffee all for 10 euros per person, the waitress who served us was  very pleasant and helpful as we speak very little spanish. If our restaurant on Condado could do these offers they might get more people through the door and stay open much more instead of being seasonal, in the meantime we shall continue to discover little jems .

Can the Presidents on here please bring this up in the next meeting as we seriously need to get this sorted.  We had some friends stay at our apartment for a few weeks and had our restaurant not been open where would they have gone!! Visitors obviously dont know thye area like us regulars do, and some dont even hire cars!!! This will concern people and probably mean they wont return if they cant even have a meal on site, besides in a pub bar!!!

I'm not sure the Presidents pull any weight with the restaurant problem becuase it's owned and run (not very well by PW) I suppose a request could be made to them about PW being more aware that there is a demand. PW do need to get it sorted as I think the quality has rarely been good in there and it's over priced.

We recommend any visitors to ordere in from Camposol.
