Television Installation how ???

Hi, Having bought my apartment from Select Property and not directly with Polaris, I have no idea as to how to go about installinga television, that can receive english channels. I am told I would need some sort of  installation package from Polaris, is this correct ? and please can anyone advise as to how to obtain this and the cost ??  I will be in Spain from the 24 July, and want to buy a TV, but dont know what to do about  receiving satellite TV and english programmes. Would be grateful for any advise.

  We purchased our T.V box from Polaris. www.polaris-telecom.com

  Telephone 0034 902500424  they will come out on a Tues or Thurs.

  Cost  180-00 euros plus V,A.T 212,4 we receive quite a lot of English channels.

Hi Lynda, what Clieve says may be true for some of the blocks in phase 2 and phase 1, but I have a polaris digibox and am in 276 and cant get tv. I think Polaris telecom have been the subject of a managment buy out and are now A2Z telecomunicaciones. A2Z claim to be negotiating for supply of TV and phone services for Terrazas.No one seems to want to switch on the TV amplifiers in my block , presumeably until negotiations are complete. A2Z have a web page which shows them as supplier to Hacienda and La Torre. They say existing Polaris digibox will work. Same digibox was being sold in La Torre supermarket for €130.  Anyone else able to throw any light on who is responsible for supply of TV on Terrazas?

  This information i have had from my friends who has lived on La Torre for the last 6 years.

   They have 2 digi boxes from Polaris.

  The company will also install analog telephones, wireless router, box TV / sat.

  Hope this will help anyone looking for this sort  of installation.
