Nothing surprises me regarding Spanish banks, developers, agents, et al.

I have passed this onto Maria who is chasing our claim for return of deposit thru the courts.

Have been waiting for over 3 years since first commencing legal action

and our feeling is that we probably will never see a settlement in our favour.

Hi All,

I collected my documents from Lawyers of Spain in August 2008 and instructed Maria to cancel my contract which was done in September  2008. We finally won our court case in December 2010 but was told that they were going to Appeal although they had lodged our deposit with the Courts.

We have not had the decission on this appeal to date but have heard that someone has won the appeal and has been given a full refund including interest and costs.

We still have a property in Sabinillas and have just returned. El Patio is being advertised for sale by Key Properties in Duquesa but they all remain empty although they are being looked after and maintained.

Does anyone else have an update ar any news?
