I've just heard on another Spanish website that building work has stopped on Terrazas de la Torre Golf Resort. and may not start again This is a bit worrying as we have heard that there is only a shop operating there and lots of uncompleted apartments.  If this is true can anyone hazard a guess as to what a two-bedroomed ground floor apartment would now be worth on the golf resort?

Hi we are just about to complete. You have me worried now..... which website was it on??

Also we were told that the reason the bank has given polaris money is that they must finish the buildings which are not yet complete...we bought into terrazas on the possibility that there would not be a complete town centre ie shops /bars open but we were promised that the unfinished building work would be complete..

Have just heard from an Estate Agent in Murcia who says that work stopped a while ago and he does not expect it to restart soon.  I saw the comment on the Polaris World Forum website under the Terrazas de la Torre link.  Sorry to give you a shock and you are probably right that the Banks have given Polaris money on condition that they finish the buildings but I would make sure that that is the case before you complete.  Do you mind if I ask how much you have agreed to pay as we are also probably going to have to come to an arrangement with them over our property but are now wondering exactly how much it is worth now.

If I find out anything definite will let you know and hope you can do the same for us.  Fingers crossed!

Hi, I went out to Terrazas the weekend before last and didn't see any work taking place on the Monday and Tuesday. Saying that since we were out in Augus there has been some work on the Islas apartments and the Hacienda. The Hacienda has had some work done outside. Where there was just earth in August most of this has now been concreted. There has also been some terraces created on the side of the Hacienda that faces the lake.

I was quite hopeful that things were progressing all be it very slowly, but i'm not so sure now.

Regards,

Phil

I must admit i was under  no illusion that things would be slow....i dont mind that ... what i would mind is if buildings never got completed and empty shells were just left theyd be better knocking them down !!
