i am an owner on Condado, my sister came out last October and rented an apartment on Naranjos 8. She had a brilliant time and planned to come back at Easter. However she is still awaiting the return of her deposit from the owner. She has spoken to the keyholder, who was very helpful and tried to contact the owner on her behalf, to no avail. My sister has sent numerous emails, and tried calling, but the phone is not working.
She recieved an email before christmas from the owner, first one since october, advising her that they had moved and were sorting their bank account out and would refund the money, to date she has not receieved a thing.
She obtained the apartment details via holiday letting, she has been on to them, who have said they are unable to help but would email the owner for her, the listing has now been removed.
I just wondered if anyone had any ideas on how she could go about getting her deposit back? She has been put off booking to come out again, and people like this will give reputable renters a bad name! She ineffectively has paid £300 for a week, as she pointed out she coudlve rented a villa for that, it has put a bit of a black cloud over her holiday and her returning.
She cant remember the number of the apartment, but its on Naranjos 8 directly below Mel.
any advice would be appreciated
