the bar and facilities

 Hi  once again i have booked my flights for the summer and dont know if the pub will be open. i have had family and friends cancel there holiday in terrezas because there is a lack of facilities does anyone know whats going on with the pub /facilities it would be the perfect resort if there was more open.

Just got back after two fantastic weeks on Las Islas and for the last 3 evenings has been people doing STUFF in the bar (not sure what but its the most action its seen for quite a while!

Went out to terrazas last week for 4 days on our first trip since purchase and yes pub and facilities must open its so sad a fantastic place and having to go off site to spend money on food and drink.Have met some fantastic people and all say the same.Bank must do something.

 hi i have been out 4 or 5 times and its always been great but its a let down the bars not open its costing us loads on taxis everytime we go out for a night out .i have spoken to costaluz lawyers and they say we could get compensation because the lack of facilities that was promised when we bought the apartment 

all bank needs to do is give businesses free rent in shops as a start up bonus.And am sure we  all would go out of our way to us and would be comfortable to let friends and family use the appartment and they would do the same.And confidence would grow on site.

Just got back from a week in Terrazas

We also saw cleaning staff in the bar approx 6 - gave it a good clean from floor to ceiling

The following day we saw 2 executive cars and three business men inside the bar

We popped our head around the door and asked when it would be opening and they said next Friday the 13th

I have to say that in spain they do not always do as they say so we will wait and see, our inlaws are on Terrazas for another 2 weeks so will get regular updates.

No information gained re opening times but lets hope its open day and night. 

Hopefully the bar will open and the golfers (which there have been plenty) will keep it busy during the day and the residents and renters will keep it busy in the evenings.

 Hi all,

I emailed Global Golf who run the courses for IRM when I got back from our latest trip (last week). I complimented them in the course but encouraged them to improve the infrastructure (ie bar & practice areas), here's the reply from the Commercial Director

"IRM are at present negotiating with some companies to open the Coppola and also we are waiting permission to move the provisional Pro shop to the town centre near the Coppola.

We hope that this will be before the summer for the bar to give residents and Golfers, Societies passing option to stay and have some refreshments."

We arrived back in Scotland on Friday evening (13/4/2012) after spending 2 great weeks on Terraza. During the first week we were told the bar would be opening the following week and as below cleaners were present. Our second week I was getting quite excited at the prospect of having a drink after a game of golf or indeed a having a couple of drinks in the evening - the cleaners arrived again on the wednesday and I was told that the bar would be opening on the saturday. Oh well maybe next time. 

Does anyone know if it has now opened.

PS golf course in good condition, greens were vey fast (although not as fast as El Valle).

We have just got back from a week at Terrazas - left 21st April, unfortunately the bar was still not open.

just back from resort and music was coming from the bar, we went over thinking it was open and the owner told us it would be open in one week.
The next day there was a lot of activity and plant pots etc are now outside and some indoor plants too. Looking good people .
