Advice needed on failing Air Conditioning system

Has anyone had a similar problem as mine?

July 2011 we had aircon installed into our newly purchased apartment.( by a very well recommended company)

However with our visit out as a family in August to our apartment, the system failed to work.

With several visits from the company from whom we purchased the system and with additional work done in November 2011 we still failed to get the aircon system to work on our subsequent return.. This seems to happen when we revisit anytime after the call out, with the aircon system switched off during our times back home.

In Feb 2012 we visited our apartment and as those who where here at that time, it was cool and we tried to get the heat mode to work but the system failed to work.

It is a SAMSUNG SYSTEM :

Lounge x1 AQV12PSBN, Bedrooms x2 AQV07PSBN, External RJ=60=F3HXEA

Does anyone have this system? What is your experience? Any advice from my colleagues on the forum?

I have SAMSUNG units in my apartment but sure what model numbers off-hand. I've found that the hot air mode takes some time to come on. The one in the lounge came on after several minutes, but the one in the bedroom we struggled with for about half an hour before it eventually began working.

After the 1st day they seemed to work fine.

Does your air con cooling mode work without any problem ?

I have had no success with our system and I wonder is there an inherent problem with our model of Samsung A/C or is there another problem ?

 Yep, cold setting worked fine.
