THE SKIP HAS MOVED - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED PLEASE

Hi Everyone, just to let you know the skip has been moved.  It is now located on the waste ground opposite the next round a bout, turn left at the round a bout where it used to be and you will see it. Please tell all your friends and neighbours that don't have access to this site.

A huge thank you goes out to Alan from the golf course who has helped us achieve this, and for listening to me moaning constantly for the last few weeks, and of course to Jose for actually getting it moved.

In return for all Alan & Ali's help Ray & I have said we will try and get a team of volunteers together to have a clearing evening. There is so much rubbish on the road that goes down to the golf course. We will be there from 7pm on Wednesday eve anyone else willing to help us in return for what he is doing for us is more than welcome. If there is enough of us it won't take longer than half an hour or maybe 1 sack each.

Sorry we can't be with you as we are back in cold wet and windy North Shields. 11 degrees here! With the clearance of most of the Boulevard Sierra Golf has now shown its true strength. The power of the people. Keep up the good work. Not back 'til end of Sept.

It is wonderful what good old working together achieves and lifts the spirit !!!

We are sorry we are not there to lend a hand  and cannot see the result of all your hard work i can imagine as when we drove along it was quite depressing and sad.

We loved the camaradaerie of the hog roast and reading the recent posts about the hard work and clearance you have all done makes me proud and happy.

I love Sierrra golf and it will be a good place to be especially with the good people who live there.

Good to hear the positive news coming from  the residents/holiday makers about the clearing of the boulevard, and the moving of the skip.

We are back out from Sept 13th and will gladly help in the clear up at Sierra Golf.

Any chance that someone could download some photos of the progress that as been made?
