we reserved and paid a deposit on a villa on 8th october.we found out this week we have got the morgage from the bank with a big but !!!
we paid the agents a deposit we have a signed agreement on a price to include fittings and now the bank has put the price of the property up by 6000 euro and wont include fittings.they agents are now saying the piece of paper with the price agreed with fittings ( also signed by the boss and stamped) means nothing now.we feel like we are being scammed has anyone else had the same problem?are the agents telling us property is cheaper than it really is so we go ahead then when the morgage comes through the property suddenly goes up 6000 euro and no fittings anymore.
anyone else had this problem.we are now being pushed for an answer do we want it or not.

What do you actually mean by fittings as your post is slightly confusing as the basic properties typically have very little included as standard, normally an oven and hob, boiler but not much else, no AC for example or furniture
Are you buying a resale property with furniture
When you actually pay the deposit you should get a sales agreement from the agent which gives the price excluding the fees which means yes it looks like you are being scammed as I know for each property the banks have already fixed the prices

hi we got an agreement from blue med on paper stamped by them saying the price of the property was 99000 euro and they would include the light fittings white goods and furniture package in the price.now the morgage has come through from the bank and they are saying its now 105000 and wont budge and blue med say they wont include the fittings now.the paper we signed with blue med means nothing its up to the bank.

This is unfortunately quite a common problem but the fixtures and fittings that you are taking about are NOTHING to do with the bank and this would normally be an incentive package, offered by the agent, to persuade you to buy from them and the paperwork that you have, with the pricing against the deposit paid is a LEGAL contract and offer to sell you the property
Now the actual purchase price of the property will be more than 99k as to that figure chances are that they will have to add the charges VAT, Notary etc so the first thing that you have to establish is what price you are paying for the actual property
All the bank do is give the agent a price for the property, as is and then they market it to the market
On the basis that the fixtures & fittings are NOTHING to do with the bank you really need to get a independent lawyer to look at the paperwork, they cam do this quite quickly, and tell Blue Med what you will be doing
You should also contact the bank because if an agent is misrepresenting their pricing they wont be very happy and may even remove the properties

I still believe that you should be pushing then regarding this as regardless what they say this is a contract and looks like their error so what's to perhaps stopping them doing this again and the paperwork is an agreement in law

Keep that piece of paper huntsman, as Inspectahomes says it is a contract!
There are some good and bad agents selling on Condado due to the prices at present who are all fighting for customers, they are offering incentives and also some duff advice.
Buyer Beware!

I have no problem apologising at all and I am delighted that this has been resolved but my comments were totally based on the comments made by the original poster and their comments regarding their sales contract and somebody at your organisation must have told them this
quite happy to refund us our money too easily. They are telling us the papers signed in their office which states the price and the extras and also signed and stamped by them means nothing
It is always good to be able to help people with these types of very important issues

What duff advise are some of the agents offering or is this just speculation on your part once again?
If Agents are providing duff info as you claim maybe you want to inform people so that they know what to look out for.
