Oven shelves

Hi all,

We're coming over to Condado at Easter for first time in ages and wanted to finally get the lack of 2nd oven shelf problem sorted. I'm sure it's been discussed before but does anyone have any suggestions of where to buy one that fits our apartment ovens or is there anyone connected to Condado who can supply for us, if so a contact email would be appreciated.

I personally haven't been out for 2 years for one reason or another so am expecting to be properly amazed at the transformation, especially of Al Kasar as only really one restaurant and the clover bar on last vist and pretty dead.

We just got an adjustable one from Euronics, Campasol, good quality Phillips one but it was 25€ though!

Try Rob on jardin 5. We got ours from him and was cheap!

We got in touch with the manufacturers in England they sent one  to us and we took it out in hand luggage.  Can't remember how much it cost though.

Try www.partmaster.co.uk/ type teka oven shelf into search. 2 shelves available think ours was the 19.99 it 's  the original part and fits in the hand luggage.

Hi all,

Just wanted to do an update on my quest to find oven shelves in case anyone else needs to get.

Firstly, contacted Rob on jardin 5 and unfortunately his supplier has ceased to exist so he couldn't supply.

I did find one on teka site in uk but to order 2 was going to be £50+ with delivery. Plus we were limited for what we could fit in our hand luggage. As we travel with 2 kids who aren't allowed their own bags despite their tickets being no cheaper we have to fit 4 people's stuff in 2 small bags!!

So we took the gamble of finding one on campasol as suggested. We couldn't find one there. We also tried leroy merlin. In end our key holder, Carol suggested a little shop down in Mazarin. Bingo! 2 proper oven shelves, as opposed to adjustable, that fit perfectly for 15euros each.

So if you need one, head down to Mazaron. As you pass the Viking ship roundabout and head straight on down the main road into town, take the first little slip road to park by the little supermarket/ shops on your right (opposite lidl). Walk around the right hand end of the building - I think there was a bank on the corner. When you see the double doors into the supermarket there will be a little shop on your right with housey bits and pieces. This is the one. Has English staff. Be careful though, they do 2 very similar size shelves. I think it was the 36.5 one you need. We accidentally picked up a second one that was 35.5 instead but exchanged next day with no quibble.

Whilst we were looking for this shop we went in wrong one one block across to left (by spa supermarket), this was also a very good shop for house bits and bobs in the downstairs bit.

Many thanks for this I only measured our oven shelf yesterday in preparation for the hunt for another shelf! Many thanks for sharing and saving me wasted hours traipsing around boring household stores!

Think you need to be heading into Puerto De Mazarron rather than Mazarron as stated?

have you tried the oven shelf shop?

Just bought one today from the shop in Puerto de Mazzeron. Enter Puerto de Mazzeron on the RM 332 and on to the Av. Dr. Meca. Once there you will see the retail units on the right advertising the Supermecado. There is a small access road on the right hand side. Park there and the shop is the first one that you will see on the ground floor. 15 euro and it fits. She has lots in stock

Yes they have plenty in stock 15 euros in the shop at puerto Mazarron next door to mercadona (opposite lidl)
