Managed to persuade one of the builders to let  me into one of the apartments.

Thanks for the confirmation, this must mean polaris have got the certificates completed from the town hall now.
I'm sure the rest of us will hear soon.

We are completing tomorrow, its all in the hands of the solicitor.  PW received the certificates on the 22nd July and have been ready to complete ever since, we chose to wait until the end of the month to sort the financing out.

Finally got the call from my laywers that the apartment is ready for completion and I have to go over and snag, then she tells me they are off on holiday for the next three weeks , got to love the spanish .;-)

Well Richard, I think you need to give your solicitors a kick up the backside - we did our snagging over a month ago, we completed nearly two weeks ago and have our keys (well our keyholder does) - we are just waiting to get the services connected now but PW wont connect you until you send them your spanish bank account details for the Direct Debits so if you dont have that sorted you need to do it asap xxx

Thanks for the replies . Under normal circumstances I would a bit annoyed about it but as I'm exceptionally busy at work it doesn't really matter and I've always been aware nothing happens in August in spain.

Wallow59 thanks for the info regards services I'll send my details to polaris. Can you tell me who you've used as a key holder , , I've left messages and emails to 2 key holders advertised on here and both promised to get back to me but never did. 

Can both of you tell what the main snagging defects were that you found , looking at flights in the next fortnight, will only be a 1 night stay .

Regarding snagging, a lot of points picked up, unfortunatley she was unable to check, electricity and water as this wasnt on even after 2 weeks. She was also unable to get any contact with PW whilst there, now this may have been due to holidays, so we have left a list and fingers crossed it will be completed.

We completed on block 275 a few weeks ago. Services are now connected, snagging completed this week and light fittings etc being installed next week, along with some basic furniture etc.

Looking forward to spending our first week in our new holiday home early September :-)

We are now connected and had furniture delivered this week, we are flying over there tomorrow - we would love to meet any of our new neighbours so please say hello if you see us.
