I am sure this will have been asked before so please forgive me for asking again.
After visiting Roda golf for about 8 years we think we have finally decided to buy. We have visited two or three time a year over the past couple of years. We have watched prices and considered buying in the past but now feel that the time is right as prices are good coupled with a bit of an improvement in the exchange rate. We are after a 2 bed town house particulary on phase 1 or 2.
Can anyone help in pointing us in the right direction with regard to
- what the actual running cost would typically be with regard to fees, taxes, key holder etc etc. Trying to establish this appears more difficult than anticipated.
- Also are there any other issues that we should be considering before purchasing.
- Has anyone previously used local solicitors that they can recommend.
- Do we need to avoid any agents in particular.
- Can anyone recommend good local key holders.
We are lucky to be in the position that we have cash so therefore do not need a mortgage also that we would keep the property for personal use rather than letting it out though we would probably let friends and family also use it.
