Thinking of buying an apartment here

I am seriously considering the purchase of an apartment here, from the bank.

It would be great to hear from anyone who knows this urbanizacion or who has already purchased or rented here.

No, I didn't receive any replies, by the agent, Solvia, was very helpful.

We decided not to proceed because the only three bedroom property had no outsider areas at all. The upper two bed apartments have great roof terraces, many with views towards the Sierra Nevadas.

One thing to watch out for is the service charges, which would increase if the heated indoor pool is put into service. Once the properties are all sold, the community of owners will be responsible for the decisions which affect the costs.

I sure these properties will be a great medium to long term investment.

I am thinking of buying one of these. Seems like a great price! We love to ski in the winter and being so close to the beach and the slopes is ideal.

Did the bank indicate what the maximum mortgage % would be? Are the properties in a nice location with views?

hi i spoke to the bank and they said up to 80% i havent been there yet but you can see some more pics on the rental sites holidaylettings i think type in the area and they come up

Just to say that I've purchased a property here. I know the area as I used to live closeby back in 2003-2006 and I'm now out the other side in terms of I've now finalised my purchase a couple of months ago for a 2 bed + 2 bath house and almost finished kitting it out. It's a great price and ideal for skiing in the morning / beach in the afternoon. Very Spanish location too.

The community charge is around 50 euros per month which I think is reasonable - although it's obviously better value for money if you use it year round rather than just 2 weeks a year - but I'm planning on retiring there.

The bank to speak to is Sabadell Bank in Salobrena (Jose Jeronimo Salado is the bank manager there) although when I visited last week they had only 11 properties left available throughout the complex. I think the heated indoor pool David is talking about must be the hammam and gym area which isn't yet officially open - so we're waiting to hear if this will cost extra and be only for those who wish to pay the extra amount or whether it's wrapped up with the current community charge costs.
