My husband and I have recently reserved a plot on the Royal Dream site at Albudeite through Grupo Trampolin.  We have paid our deposit and signed the contract and are currently awaiting our bank guarantee, despite the fact that the houses as yet do not have planning permission.  Our lawyer assures us that this is quite normal in Spain and by the time the property is built (approx 3 years time) the permissions should have come through.  If everything goes pear shaped, we are assured we will get back our money back through the bank guarantee.  I know it is a big risk - most things in life are - but one we are prepared to take as we are not in any particular hurry to move in so if there is a delay this is not a problem to us.  However it would be good to talk to others out there who are hoping to buy on the same site to share our experiences as we go along - we will hopefully end up as neighbours after all!!
