Hi,
I have been informed by Palmera Properties that the water will be cut off on the 30th Sept.
They also state that the community administrator,Jose Mamuel Garcia should inform residents of this and he is paid to do so.I have not heard from him.

I think  it would be a good idea if residents could give there views regarding community expenditure/ideas over the internet. When is the next  meeting.

Cheers

Sorry the builders son is the president of the residents community, not the administrator.
But would not surprise me if the administrator had some connection with the builder.

You're right, Raul, the president is the builder's son, although as a president he is absolutely invisible and has probably only been on site about 3 times since he was elected.

Rob and I were speaking to the administrator last week. The next general meeting will be held in June 2007 which is 1 year from the original meeting. We can call an extraordinary meeting if we want to and the administrator is required, by law to inform everyone of the date and the agenda.

If enough people want to call a meeting we've suggested that we should have at least 2-3 months notice to give everyone time to arrange flights etc., or to receive and return their proxy vote forms.

At the moment everything is going fine here, the builders are in working on the snaggings and the water and electric change over seems to be going smoothly.

We've arranged for plants to be placed around the pool area so that they hide the ugly fence and also plastic tables and chairs for the community room.  If anyone has any other suggestions that aren't going to cost the community a fortune please let us know.

Doreen

Rob & Doreen. Many thanks for keeping us all up to date. Your contributions on this site are very much appreciated. As for the communal area, now you mention it, hows about a dart board, pool table, pinball, plasma screen, and of course a fully stocked bar. Just a thought.  Ian.

Hi Doreen and everyone yes l agree there should be a meeting to sort this President situation out, as he does nothing and is leaving you and Rob to do it all.Regards Pat.
