Where in Spain?

I'm looking for a bit of advice/help. My Wife and I are coming over to our house (469 La Herrada) with our two boys on 25 June until 15 July. We have just found out that our community pool is unlikely to be ready for use during this period.  Both our boys are Autistic and the major reason we bought the house was the fact that both the boys love to use a pool on holiday and the community nature of the pool rather than a hotel pool. 

I know this is going to sound a touch cheeky but I was wondering do you know of any other community members of La Herrada who would allow us to use their facility for some of the days during the period we are over. We would not want to be at the pool every day but say 2/3 days during the week.

I have heard that Los Montesinos has a municipal pool - does anyone know where it is and how it operates.

Hi John,

We have a place at Montesol Villas. We stayed in La Herrada when we came out last Oct to sign for our property.

The Piscina is to the side of the football stadium in Los Montesinos.Dont know if you know where that is but if you dont I'll try to direct you.

 Go on the main road going out of Los Montesinos towards San Miguel. Opposite the Nissan Garage which is the last building on your left, there is a patch of land where lorries etc park up. You need to turn up there and that little road takes you to the stadium.I know the pool is there beside it (there is a sign pointing to Piscina)  but dont know where the access to it is . Somebody has mentioned that it is quite a big pool and costs about 2 euro each and you can stay as long as you want.

I dont know when it opens but we may have to use it for our hols cos our pool may not be in use either as insurance hasn't been arranged yet so if you find out any info please post it on here.
