Hi there, thanks for your reply. I did have a look around on my visit, I also looked at Montevideo Hills just below Paraiso Hills.

I have talked to several people now about both developments - most seem happy with them but I was concerned about the fact that it seemed mostly unoccupied. I have been offered what I think is a good price on properties in both developments.

Have you bought yours to live in or to rent out? - I was intending to buy and let out on a short term basis then have use of the property for myself for a few weeks of the year. I live permanently in the UK.

I haven't decided what to buy just yet, as it is a buyers market out there and I want to make sure I get it right!

Any further comments would help!

Hi, I realise it has been a while since the last post on this forum.  I have been looking at this complex and am considering buying a 3 bed townhouse there.  Can anyone give me some feedback about your experience there?  Is there any short term rental potential? I have asked several agents but they all come back with different opinions, either a piece of cake to rent out, or not much hope of any rentals, so I've been left confused.  I notice there are quite a few units advertised for long rentals at the moment.

Is the complex well maintained? From what month are the pools open? Has the amount of service charge been stable since purchasing? Quality of build? etc.  Is there anyone on site that would maintain the private gardens and at what price?

I would appreciate as much information as you can provide.
