Has anyone fitted or proposing to have fitted a water filter/purifier. This will enable us to drink the water straight from the taps. If anyone has had a filter fitted, could you please let us have an idea of costs etc.

Hi Lynda & Laurie
When we were over last year we visited an open air market ,it was in an outdoor cinema type place not far from balsicas, there was a guy selling them , I am not sure but I think they were either 150 or 199 euro supplied and fitted. Sorry I dont know the name of the market but I am sure someone can enlighten us.

Have a look at this web site: http://www.cuno.com/ click on Residential. They do systems from 140 euros up to 245 euros Fitted, depending on what you want I suppose. They do systems that protect your boiler to your washing machines etc.

Yes, we had the guy at the Auto cine fit us a water purifier for 199 Euros, about 3 months ago. Water tastes fine (no need to keep going to supermarket for bottles anymore)
