Hi all
Just got back from a sun drenched week in Murcia. We stayed at Polaris World La Torre just to sample life on a golf resort. The standard of villas are very similar to TH internally.
We called in at TH on a Sunday so no work was going on at the time. The web cam is situated on the back wall of the cafe looking out onto the cranes. On the left of the web cam where you can see work going on is going to be front and second line villas and the apartments. Next to that is the golf course and to the right are the 1st and 2nd phase villas on the 1st 9 holes. What you can see happening is the foundations being prepared for the apartments
Went into the sales office and was told that the 1st phase would be finished in 1 year and the 2nd phase in 2 years. The following day we went to see Martha at the first Trampolin project office and she is adamant that construction starts in September and our villa which is plot 44 on phase 2 will be complete this time next year. So all in all things are looking up on the Hills.
We took some photos but you can see all that is happening on the web cam
PS we found some really nice restaurants in Los Alcazares and also picked up the latest price list for the 2nd 9 holes
Trianna 1st line 375000 euros + 7%IVA 2nd line 355000 Euros plus 7% IVA
Sevilla " " " 385000 euros "" & 365000 euros + IVA
Alhambra 405000 euros & 385000 euros + IVA
Macarena 305000 euros & 255000 euros + IVA
Not bad eh!
Best wishes to you all Cathy & Paul

Hi Dave
You wil be spoilt for choice in Los Alcazares for eating out. We found a plaza that runs down the side of the Hotel 525 that had loads of restaurant where you could eat inside or out. If you can;t find the hotel listen out for the local karaoke bar! (don't worry we only found one)
If you are looking for a good beach go to La Zenia which is further up the coast towards Alicante (take the AP7) about 15 mins away by car. There is also an excellent Asian/Vietnamese restaurant just off the La Zenia roundabout, take the first layby , not the first exit as this will take you to Cabo Roig (Cabo Roig also has some good restaurants & bars)
Regards
Cathy

Great news folks!
If plot 44 will completed in 12 months then 38 (ours) should be the same
The 'Patio' restaurant in Los Alcazares is certainly worth a visit. Try the fillet steak cooked on a stone on your table............. super!

Think they were much the same as they are now. (350,000/400,000 Euro)
We will have to wait until construction begins to see the real price rise
I'd guess that front line Sevilla type houses will fetch in the region of 500,00 Euro +
Happy days!

€350 - €400k?! Can't be coz the Macarenas are €305k now. Anyone know the Macarena prices around December 2006? Think they were €300k. But months before, they were €250k. Just wondering if anyone knows when they jumped from 2€50k to €300k?

The Macarena was 250k euros front line last summer thats when i bought, then a price increase was placed on the the grupo trampolin site ,someone one here wrote on a thread about the increase so it should be possible find out when that was the price then went to 350k for front line I dont know to any other increases in price other than that one.they seem to be selling the Macarena for a lot less now though I dont know if that is on our development or royal dream,or is our development completely sold now any one know.

We purchased our villa Macarena for 163k euros end May 07. The price was the same in December 06 when they were first released on the Royal Dream development. These villas are probably cheaper because they are not planned around a golf course.

When I quoted 350-400k for the villa's I meant the Triana, Sevilla and Alhambra type houses as these were the only types available when we purchased our property in March 2006. It is now impossible to buy these houses. The only type available now is the Macarena. This house type is single storey, all the others a two storey.
Sorry for any confusion!

I bought both my Macarenas for €300k each in December 2006. The prices had just jumped up from €250k a few months previously, I believe. I couldn't believe it! Just missed the boat! Anyway, things are looking good so keeping my fingers crossed. Just hope I can sell one of them next year as need the cash for my masters degree! Look forward in meeting all of you in the near future for a round of golf!

When we were at TH 2 weeks ago we were told that all phase 1 and 2 villas were now sold but that you could still purchase all villa types on phase 3. But we were also told that they only have approx 30 ish villas left which is good news
For those who have bought on Royal Dream you should just bide your time, we bought in Sept 05 and by July 06 they had only increased in value by 20000 euros. iIs only since they have moved on with the building work that the prices have shot up.
If anyone is going out there soon please keep us up to date with what is happening as we are now experiencing post Murcia withdrawal symptoms because we love the region so much (It's not the reduction in the amount of vino honest!)
