Having monitored this site for a while now, it's refreshing to finally see some positive things being said about the local companies that are doing their best to "clean up" after all the "dishonest" sales companies of a couple of years ago.
Being a property investor myself in the local area, I understand how important it is to get complete satisfaction from your management company. Bearing in mind also that selecting the right one will give a tremendous amount of added value to your property portfolio and rental potential.
In short, make sure that you don't "scrimp" and be drawn into meeting someone in a pub that you have no credentials for. Investigate them first, check out their web site and ask for recomendations from previous clients.

We were over at Roda last week,it is the first time we have been since we changed management companies & WOW what a difference, the apt was spottless!!! we use a company who have been in the cleaning business for over 25 yrs in the Uk & now live full time in Spain, they deal with both keyholding & cleaning for more details please use the PM facility.
Time to go for a bite to eat before Barnsley see off another Premiership outfit in the FA cup

maybe the property management companies can advise us on this one. Are the properties on roda actually renting??? what would a birdie villa with pool and hot tub make per week?

Hi all
I've purchased on Corvera golf, and was hoping for some advice off you more experienced owners. Would anyone recommend any management companies? and say why, I've read a few of the other messages and Calida has come up a couple of times, are they still being recommended? Also how are the rental side of things going? does anyone know roughly how many weeks an apartment is likely to rent for in a year at the moment. It would also be useful to find out about typical running costs, ie management, utilities, taxes, maintenance etc.

Has anyone out there used Roda to rent out their properties. I know you have to buy their furniture packs but if they can get the rentals, is it worth the extra cost?

I'm led to believe Roda are only looking to act as agent for Ph 1 and 2 to date.
30 Properties in Ph3 to be added to the portfolio by next summer.
As for key holding, airing and cleaning services, they are incapable of replying to multiple email enquiries or return phone calls, so I have little hope that they can manage an appartment!

We are thinking of using calida international properties to rent out our appartment in roda. Any feed back would be very welcome. Anyone know roughly how many weeks rental we can except with them?

Paul Baxter of Calida is a star! Nothing is to much trouble for him and he goes out of his way to satisfy owners/renters needs. His knowledge of the area is impressive. As in a previous post, forget Roda and their so called management and (non existent) rental programme. Its just there for you to be seduced into buying one of their overpriced furniture packs. Try Furniture Express (EOS advertiser) they were very good.

Paul Baxter and Stuart Thomas are two of the nicest and most helpful people you can possibly wish to do business with. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. We are delighted with our apartment on phase 3 and it has been trouble free since we have dealing with Paul and Stuart. They have helped us and pointed us in the right direction with everything, the furniture package, the lawyers, the mortgage, the rentals. Their website advertising our property is excellent - take a look. We have no worries whilst they are looking after our property. Highly recommended and professional.

Just back from a great two weeks at Roda. The place is looking fantastic and Roda have confirmed that phase 3b will definately complete at the end of September. We met up with Paul and Stuart from Calida International and found them fantastic to deal with. They offer a fantastic service and we will definately use them as our property management company. Nothing is a problem for them and they have excellent knowledge of everything in the area down to the best workmen to use for odd jobs. All we have to worry about is shopping for furniture!!!.

Hi All,
Would just like to add my two pennies worth, and say my property management company is great as well. Linda at SKH is totally on the ball and one of the most professional and organised people I have ever met. With regular emails and phone calls keeping me up to date, nothing is too much trouble. I have a few issues with Roda at the moment and Linda or one of her team, is in the office most days fighting in my corner.
My internet is playing up at home at the moment so am relying on internet cafes, so may not be on line for a few days, so P.M.’s may not be read for a while.

I too use SKH and the service we receive from Linda and Mike is absolutely first class. They are friendly, helpful and very professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are certainly on the ball with everything to do with Roda.
On top of this they are fantastic with our guests too - the value of which should not be underestimated.

ive found a good website builder that allows you to put your own website together and take bookings on line by visa. its very good as you can automatically set up your on site manager with auto emails and stuff. im not finished yet building my website on it but when its done it will be second to none.. have a look at the animations on condadodealhamarentals.com.
ill be in roda from next saturday till wednesday so ill try to get a few pics of the nearly finished beach club

We use Calida International and have been very satisfied with their service. We're booked pretty solid, and even cancelled a trip out ourselves! It's early days, but we're happy so far. :)
