Return of deposit

Hi neighbours.   We have also purchased in Letizia IV.   Has anybody any idea when completion of phase 3 is due?   Did you hear about a supermarket or other new shop units/restaurants/bars opening in Formentera as we only found one Spanish restaurant although it was lovely and very traditional.   By the way anybody from Ireland who has bought in Letizia as we are from Wexford.

Hi there, we have been told that completion should be the end of September, but as far as we know phase 2 hasn't been completed yet ,so I don't think phase 3 will be ready for that date.. we are thinking it will be more like November December time, and I have also been told it is always the end of a month when the keys are handed over. Looks like things are moving along though, from the progress reports we have received so who knows, its all in the lap of the gods I'm afraid.

What number aptmt have you purchased?? It's nice to hear from fellow neighbours we shall all be very pally by the time we move in over there.

We have purchased No. 99.   September/October was the estimated time for completion but it looks more like November/December.   What number are you?

We were last there a few weeks ago.   We love the peacefulness of the area and the fact that we are facing the groves - hopefully they will remain!!!.  We are hoping one or two more restaurants/bars open in Formentera in the future and maybe a supermarket?   Any news on any such developments?     We will be heading over when we get word of completion.  Bye for now and hopefully will meet for a drink when we are all settled in????

Hi Fellow Letizia buyers,

I've only just found this site and hopefully it will prove to be intersting and useful. As regards completion dates for phase three, I can confirm what the other members have said as my wife and I have been advised by ATLAS that it will be November. We "signed up" in May 2005 and had an original completion date of June 2006, but that fell by the wayside without much in the way of information from anybody concerned. We are coming back over for a week in November to have a quick look for ourselves at the progress. We would like to hear from anybody who has moved in as to their experiences.

Hi all buyers of Letizia IV.   We bought in march phase two overloooking sports field we were told it would be ready by june/july. we phoned Atlas yesterday still no news on completion will it be now october ? watch this space!!!!   Do Atlas work at night!  they certainly keep you in the dark.   Mor and Col  apartment no 23 parents of  Mandy

Hello fellow neighbours.  This is Mary and Eddie from No. 112 - Phase 3 (yes still waiting as well).  Can anyone tell us if they have had fitted or are going to be having fitted, security grills on their balconies/ windows.  If you have, do you have any contacts.   We have had one quote from Atlas Technical but apparently we have been told that their costs are very expensive and we could get alot cheaper elsewhere.

Hi fellow phase 3 neighbours, we have just had a progress report and photo from atlas, which we have put on the shared photo site, doesn't look that much different from the last one I'm afraid but progress is being made albeit slow.seems all the work is going on inside. all plastering and most of the tile work is now complete,  I know  some of you don't get updates so any news is welcomed..

hi everyone in princesa letezia, we are sam and margaret, buying no 111, phase 3, olive groves side.been in touch with atlas, looks like december finish. fed up with waiting. anyone interested in getting bolts put on patios or bedroom windows we have a contact who will arrange it.hope to meet a lot of our fellow brits when we go over in january.

We have been told by ATLAS that 4th December is the date that the builder is due to hand over our property to them for their inspection, but that it is not definite. However, when we were over in Formentera two weeks ago, our place (phase III, ground floor on the football pitch side) looked pretty close to completion. Keeping our fingers crossed in the mean time!

I have just had an e-mail from ATLAS to say that our apartment (phase 3, Ground floor, Football pitch side) has been released to them for inspection etc. Our fingers are now crossed for the next stage.

Hi to all.

Been informed that the apartments in phase III have failed the final inspection. Lifts are not working.  Front access is not completed and decorating inside some of the apartments is not finished.  Also some of the sinks in the kitchens are not fitted.  Atlas have said that the next inspection will not be carried out until early January now.  It will probably be February now before anyone in Phase III gets to complete.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but we feel the same.  Hope you all have a great Xmas and New Year.
