Hi I just want to introduce myself

we are visiting san juan in feb/mar 08

unfortunately the calypso hotel is closed

can anyone recommend anywhere else - preferably half board

We have just come back from C D P and stayed in the Hotel Playa Terreros, 3 minuites walk from the development it was 40 euros per night and is only 12 months old they have a great website to look at I phoned them up but you have to wait for the lady to speak to you as she speaks good English.  It is imaculate comfortable basic and wasnt busy at all. Had to ask for a few more pillows and blanckets but nothing was too much trouble, so if its somewhere you want to just stay for a short while its o.k. They do breakfast in the modern cafe snacks and have a restuarant.  If not We stayed before in Mojacer in the Oasis Tropical ( I think) it is on the sea front a 4 star hotel beautiful inside bed and breakfast and we payed about 9 euros each at night for an all you can eat buffet it was delicous.  Have a good stay hope this helps. This is my first posting, found the site whilst checking on the development, we are buying on phase 4. We always stay at the Marina Playa in Mojacar, rooms are good size and food is well presented. It is next to the Oasis Tropical and they use the facilities of the Marina Playa.
