Compensation

Are there any buyers that used Ocean view properties as their agent on this development, that was sent a letter before the court case with aifos offering to act on your behalf to seek compensation for this development.

 If so did you get or have been made an offer of any compensation since the out of court settlement with Aifos?

we signed the form and heard nothing since, rumour is OVP folding and starting with new name in Morocco!!  Doesn't look good?

OVP's case in court last week was dismissed and as it was Inland Revenue Court they probably had taxes outstanding against them.  However, please do not use OVP to represent you - why would you do that?  OVP are not working on your behalf in any shape or form and never will.  They only want your money.  If you have money you want to get back either from OVP or developer please seek legal advice either from Maria de Castro who advertises on this site or a solicitor in England preferably one who is out of the area where OVP have their offices. 

If you put a downpayment on any property and you are having problems getting it back which are not your fault then you need to seek legal advice and take action if you do not want to lose your money.  I can't stress this point enough.

If you thought you would be able to sell on your apartment using OVP to do this for you let me tell you that non of the developers will let you do that and they will tell you what they told us and that is "you either complete on the purchase or you will lose your money."
