Hi All/
just back from Murcia which was generally sunny/warm particurly over the weekend and was a good reminder why we decided to buy in this area particurly as when we arrived back in Newcastle airport it was 3 degrees. The day before we had been walking along the beach at the Mar Menor in short sleeves.
Visited TH on Sunday and site was very quite, it was explained that the 'workers' generally worked Monday to Friday with a few working on a Saturday. It is not obvious from the webcam but the access roads for the apartments have been marked out and the excavation work that took place a few months ago is for the basements of the first line apartments. We also had a look around Royal Dreams and the four show houses are nearly finished, work is presently o/ging finishing the internals.
Went to TH on the Tuesday and work on the first nine holes was minimal, most of the excavation equipment was being operated on the 2nd nine holes. It is probable that until the final licence is approved that they are limited on what work can be further progressed on the first nine holes. We selected the tiles for the house and agreed the final position of our house within our allocated plot, anyone on phase1 who has not done this yet should be arranging this as a matter of priority. The single line villas are now directly adjoining the golf course and the access road will now run along the 'cliff' line, for us this is a beneficial change to the site plan.
Visited El Trampolin on Wednesday prior to meeting the company lawyer and generally the site looked neat and tidy although there were workers on site repairing road defects and relaying drain covers etc. The one obvious observation is the amount of temporary electrical cables run across the access roads from electrical distribution boards. This is obviously the 'builder's supply' and hopefully we can avoid this situation at TH. Spoke to the company lawyer who indicated that the final building licence was still awaited from the Murcia region but that they were hopefull this would arrive at the end of the month after which time building work would be commenced. It was also indicated that our house (we are on phase 1) 'could' be completed as early as September of 2008!!!!
We arrived home to read the thread on the 'illegal' build but TH feels like Grupo trampolin are not moving forward with the build until they have all the licences in place hence will be a 'legal' build. This has resulted in substantial delays (for us over 2 years) but 'hopefully' should result in none of the problems associated with the title deeds that has occurred at El Trampolin.
regards
GM
