Currency dilemma

Hi All,   

I visited SG yesterday and spoke to a few people and the latest news is that they have got the press involved who have taken up the story and made some calls .

The outcome of this resulted in Masa making a phone call to one of the residents saying that the electricity would be on by next week and the habitation certificate will be isued next week also.

Hopefully this will be the start of something better. As I, along with lots of you are probably getting fed up with all the lies and the non responses to phone call and e-mails. If any of you are due out to sign and would like to get in touch with me regarding work or what ever as I am now here permanently and can start work as soon as you require.

Thanks for the info we were beginning to wonder if we would have to change our Christmas flights for the third time.

Well done to whoever contacted the press, perhaps this time it will really happen.

Hope you are both well and your settling in O.K. How are the dogs doing, a big change for them as well? Are you staying local to S.G.?

I am sorry but it will not work like that in Spain

Unless they are about to connect up the properties to builders supply there is no logistical way that electricity will be connected in the same week as the Certificate of Habitation is issued

Can anybody tell me if the electricity meters are already fitted in the cupboards and if the mail fuse has been fitted in the properties, normally the first fuse on the left in the fuse box

Certanly they will not turn anything on until after they have processed the first direct debit from the bank, again 3-4 days

Also I have great connections with the press and BBC Watchdog so if somebody can let me know which newspaper they spoke to I can make additional enquires for you
