Any Estate Agent with a shred of morals and consience would not touch any new HUMA project with a barge pole until they sort out the ACC mess. How can an Estate Agent bring a client to a Huma development and look them in the eye and say "Everything will be fine, they are a reputible builder" The mind boggles with Huma trying to get a new project going and they still have ACC to sort out.

No building as yet but they do have some machinery clearing the land ready for the start. They started the ground clearance on Monday 18th... This message was last edited by Martini on 3/21/2008.

Nice to hear my info confirmed!
My view, and I suppose hope , is that they will get phase 1 built very quickly and before the contract time for buyers............good marketing after all the delays over ACC

I'm sure they will. We actually transferred our plot in February and so far what they have said has happened. Mid March machinery to clear and then build will start April. Lets hope it does as we have now put everything up for sale in the UK, expecting 12 - 15 mths for completion due to the UK market. Fingers crossed.

I understand that there is a sales office already on site. I have seen the advertising board on the Sorbas-Tabernas road, can anyone tell me where the sales office is located?
Also I did the drive from the advertising board to the airport in 23 minutes.
Thanks

That is good news as we are on Manzana 1 plot 11 Tarifa....do you think they will be ready by Winter 2008?
Going to Spain on 08/04/08 and if I have time I will have a look
Nice to have something positive out of the investment in ACC after 2 years....may even be better than ACC!!!!

Not surprised...seems the sensible commercial solution to Huma Mediterraneo SL problems
OTCC is being built by Huma Indalo SL but they are probably owned by the same family and in ' commercial terms ' this may be a ' trade out ' for them
They may even sell out the whole of the first phase to transfer from ACC!!
We are just pleased that we have a 'go situation' and our money is guaranteed
But it would be nice if our Tarifa Manzana 1 plot 11 was ready for next winter
So Huma....if you are watching this Forum....it would be good 'Press' if you delivered early!!!!!

Do your new OCC contracts contain the wording to confirm the option to transfer back to ACC should building re-start? Mine does not appear to, albeit I am now of the opinion that OCC is the better of the two and will probably stick with even if ACC gets passed.

I have an annex to the contract which states that I can transfer back if ACC restarts before our OTCC Tarifa us ready...but like you do not expect this to happen
