Hi all, I uploaded the latest photo's of work, I hope the picture of tiles and plaster give us all a little hope!?! On the building licence front there's still something very fishy going on, yes it has a licence, I have a copy act act, but it is for 232 appartments and the development is for around 360!! I'm trying to find out from Aifos how this will work.

Hi Dom thanks very much for posting latest photos they are excellent and certainly gives us more hope that things are finally turning a corner (hurrah!!) though I hope when we go over to Spain in October Alazan will be more than a concrete shell (yes you guessed it that is where we are buying!!). We have made arrangements through Ryan Robertson @ Aifos (who I understand is in Spain at the moment) for a site visit which has been scheduled for Thursday 5th October or Friday 6th October obviously we will take lots of photos and keep everyone updated on our return.

Hi everyone! Just to let you know we went on site on Friday 6th October and was impressed how much progress had been done since our last trip in April. We went on site Friday 6th October and Alazan Block (where we have brought) has now been built but obviously there is still a lot of work to be done ie. rendering the exterior and all the interior work to be done . We was not allowed to go round the front of the building as they were working also a lot of land was going to be moved so they could start on the swimming pool/garden area. The site manager unfortunately could not speak English but the guy from the Aifos Sales Office spoke a little English and he told us the site will be completed in 12 months time but we could wait a further 3-6 months for the habitation licence! We was not too disappointed as there has been loads of progress made but it is the waiting and hoping that everything will be on schedule. With regards to Las Cabs swanseajack when we was in the Aifos Sales Office a guy came in and asked about the building licence for Las Cabs and the woman in the office said they were still waiting for a licence! The guy was not happy as he had been told different months when it was going to be released which unfortunately sounded so familar and having been through this ourselves and along with everyone else this is the price you pay for buying off-plan but hopefully now we can see light at the end of the tunnel!!

Cathy, did u take any photo's? also how many blocks are under construction, as Aifos have only a building licence for 232 appartments, the whole development is for 350+ appartments. Aifos are saying its just a matter of time before the licence comes through for the rest, even though the town hall have stated Aifos have not applied or have no agreement to extend the current 232 size. Doest anyone realise this development cannot be finnished!! everyone is just sat back hoping!! come on lets get together and get these answers sorted!! we are being taken for a ride! a year til completion! utter rubbish, half havnt got foundations in due to no licence! Just look at the message board for Angel de Miraflores, another AIfos development just read there commments.
